Bushman Rock Art & Gondwanaland Fossils

In the Sneeuberg Mountains lies an oasis; a sheltered, well-watered hollow hidden high up on the inhospitable plateau where man has lived, and hunted, and survived for thousands of years. Take a guided tour to the paintings in a nearby rock-shelter, see hundreds of Bushman artefacts and learn about the vanished Bushman & Khoikhoi cultures. This area is also part of what is known to palaeontologists as the Karoo Basin of the former Gondwanaland; “the richest reptile fossil depository on the planet.” Take an informative guided tour of the fossil museum where hundreds of these fossils are to be seen. (1/2 or full day with optional lunch)
